My gaming comp got a virus so it may be a bit before I get to test this. I am thinking about installing Morrowind on my work comp (or not, that could be a very bad idea) and if I do, it will be sooner. I'm just worried about Morrowind playing nice with Vista, which is what I have on my work comp.

I've heard there have been some problems with MW and Vista? Of course, there have been problems with Vista period. MS should have just held onto it instead of releasing it.

Morrowind will work fine so long as you install it onto the C:\ drive NOT the Program Files directory.
So C:\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind
NOT C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind
Vista's extra security settings, aside from being pretty pointless since they don't *actually* do much to hamper problems caused by 99.9999% of viruses, trojans, spyware or....anything, can mess up older programs sometimes.
Personally I never really had a problem with installing it to Program Files but loads of people seem to....
Oblivion also is said to have similar issues...

Thanks for the tip, DJ.
I'll try to get MW installed this weekend and will check it out Wolfie.

Wolfie, I finally got my hard drive reformatted, I have reinstalled Morrowind and I was ready to test your mod.
I loaded it up in TESAME and made a discovery that there are items used in the mod that you did not include the meshes, textures and icons for, specifically any of the items that have the prefix AAMY, such as display cases, hutch and flora ash grass. I am not sure anything else is missing. Now, ordinarily, I would have all these meshes, textures and icons anyway due to how many mods I had tested, but since this is a new install of Morrowind on a reformatted drive, I have nothing I used to have and don't have these meshes/textures. These really should be included with your download even if 95% of the people out there will already have them. I cannot test any further without these meshes, textures and icons. I was pleased to find that there seemed to be no improper references and no GMSTs. Once I get a hold of those other graphic files, I will be able to do a more thorough run through. As it is, I cannot even load it in game because I would get a screen full of yellow exclamation points.
*hugs*

That is interesting. I'm not using any of that stuff. I have a newer final version I completed. I'll try to give it another look and upload it again.
I've been pretty overwhelmed lately. I lost my job on November 30 and STILL have not found another one.
I also started working on my master's degree last month and that is taking a lot of time.
Sorry for the mess.

Aww, that's a bummer. Sorry to hear that, Wolfie. *hugs*
