To start thread #2...
Stephanie is an Altmer Sorcerer (custom class) who has joined the Mages Guild and is amazed at the type of people who comprise the authority of the Mages Guild on Vvardenfell and has decided that the first order of business is to work her way up the ranks and de-throne the idiot, Trebonius. After talking with the Vivec guild members, she's amazed at the stupid things that he wanted them to do. She is training hard for the day she expects to duel him. _________________ Denina

Well, I ended up deleting Stephanie due to an overlooked error in a mod that messed up the game so forget her if you haven't already.
But now I have Jake, an Imperial custom class Adventurer who has two goals in life: he wants to get laid and he wants to get rich and not necessarily in that order since he knows that he has a better chance of getting laid if he has a few coins to spend. In the meantime, he is in awe of the bounty of the foodstuffs in the Ascadian Isles and is eating heartily and well. After stale bread in prison, even steamed crab seems like eating a delicacy.
So far he is adamant about not getting involved with any factions since it was a faction that landed him in prison to begin with. He has not yet elaborated on the events of his imprisonment, but I'm working on him. He has been pearl diving in the lakes and riverbeds of the Ascadian Isles, collecting herbs and plants for alchemy. He also thinks that merchants charge too much for armorer's hammers. I was treated to a full five minutes of him bitching about how expensive they are. I have the feeling he might be just a little tight-fisted when it comes to money. When I asked him what he would do with his wealth once he had it, he looked at me as if I was an idiot...like I spend all my days hanging out with rich people and know what they do with their wealth. Since he's such an authority, I look forward to following him around in his adventures and see what he does. Besides his fondness for bitching about exorbitant prices, he seems like a decent bloke.
I have made characters named Jake before that I might have posted about but this guy is different. When I created him in game, he seemed more "alive" than any other attempt. I just like the name Jake for a guy. I seldom make male characters to play but this time was more spur of the moment. _________________ Denina

Jake is now level 3 and has been exploring the Ascadian Isles and the Bitter Coast.
This morning as he explored the area south and west of Vivec, Hlaalu canton I was treated to a cuss-fest as he killed a dozen slaughterfish, mud crabs and kwama foragers. He was getting extremely aggravated. He also complained about the stench emanating from a cave called Assemanu that he found scrawled in the wood of the door. The stench convinced him that he did not want to go in the cave but he is extremely disturbed as to what would cause such a smell. When he asked me, I told him to walk in and find out. I, once again, got "The Look."
As he got closer to Ebonheart he was relieved to not find any more caves or associated stench but instead I was treated to a litany of curses as the slaughterfish tried to sink their teeth in his legs. He found shredding the scales off of them extremely satisfying and salvaged some meat as well. I could almost see him salivating as he thought about his evening meal. I told him he could go by land instead of swimming but he said the cold water helped him take his mind off of other things.
So far I noticed that Jake does not sleep much for a human. He claims it's from prison...you were afraid to sleep for fear of being caught off guard so he hasn't rested for more than an hour at a time. I think he'll crash eventually but 10 days on Vvardenfell and he's keeping it together pretty well. I can tell he's tired though because a scrib got a bite in.
I've figured out that he's enjoying his freedom after his prison term. He has not really been serious about doing anything except exploring. He's found much to love about his new home though he's seen hints that there are things not right. He's heard about corprus and blight diseases. He's stood on hilltops over the Ashlands and seen how desolate it is and found that very worrisome considering how beautiful and lush the Ascadian Isles is. He's heard about daedric ruins and how nasty daedra worshippers are and wonders if they are a true threat. He has also sensed an evil presence here and there...specifically with the stench in front of the aforementioned cave. He also noticed it at a shipwreck he came across that was south and west of Hla Oad and northwest of Seyda Neen. He also sensed it a little bit near the end of the Foyada Mamea and wondered if it had anything to do with a cave he found there. Despite the stench he is actually curious about these caves but does not feel well enough equipped to take such a risky venture.
I can't wait until my work is done today to find out what he does next. I'm really enjoying this. LOL _________________ Denina

It seems like I'm the only one playing...or, more to the point, the only one reporting the goings on of my Morrowind world...or rather, Jake's Morrowind world.
So, he's been on Vvardenfell for 2 weeks and has come to realize that a life led without responsibility is feeling a little pointless so he has become a business owner and purchased the Racer's Roost tavern in Hla Oad. (mod is Racer's Roost - can get it as PES). He's looking forward to a steady income.
In the meantime, he's also decided that there are way too many bandits and smugglers and decided to clear them out. In the process, he got an ugly shock. While pearl diving northwest of Seyda Neen he saw a cavern door in the not-too-far distance and swam in its general direction. As he got close to it, he noticed someone else swimming in the water nearby and noted the person was not trying to get to the surface to breathe. As he swam toward the figure, it became clear that something was quite wrong with this personage and as he got close, the figure turned toward him. If Jake could've screamed under water he would have. As the being tried to hit him, he panicked and basically cut the being to ribbons. By then, he was almost out of air and swam desperately to the surface, gulped in air like it was going out of style and tried to calm his racing heart. What the hell was that thing and why was it underwater. Once calmer, he cast a water breathing spell and swam back down to investigate the being a little more closely now that it was dead. He grabbed it by its none too clean shirt sleeve and dragged it to the surface. Once there, he could see the damage to the flesh and realized this was probably one of the corprus monsters he had heard about. But what the hell was it doing in the waters of the Bitter Coast?!
Still pumped on adrenaline, he disposed of the corpse so its disease would not spread to any fish (if it hadn't already) and he ventured into the cavern he saw, hoping there weren't more like this guy there. Fortunately, he found just an ordinary ring of smugglers. Realizing too late he was probably taking more chances than was good for him, he made short work of dispatching the scum before sinking, exhausted, onto one of the hammocks in the cave. He could not sleep for the memory of the horrible thing haunted him, but the rush of adrenaline had mostly spent itself and he gathered the loot the smugglers had amassed. As he cast Almsivi Intervention, he made up his mind that he was not in a hurry to go pearl diving between Seyda Neen and Hla Oad anytime soon. _________________ Denina

| Arissi's been scheming lately... she's working her way upward in the Mainland Mages' Guild, and has recently cleaned out a particularly nasty necromancer's hideout, at their behest. She's planning to investigate an underwater Dwemer ruin, but isn't sure about long trips underwater yet; she's almost been eaten by sharks twice, but they don't seem to like electrical spells on touch. |

Grafonius (imperial, agent) joined the Imperial Cult. For him it seems to be the only peaceful faction, because he had heard about the huntings of the Temple. He hasn't harm anything yet. He used the money Caius gave him to buy Scrib Jelly, for a quest the Cult gave him. Now he has to gather Rat Meat. Rat's are less nice animals, but killing is against Grafonius' principles. Maybe the cave near Seyda Neen contains some, but he isn't that sure about it.
Sorry for my bad English, but i love to read your story's and want to share mine too |

Leah interrupted her Fighters' Guild quests to work on Redoran quests; did as many as she wanted and then went back to Fighters' Guild quests and is now resisting the urge to bitch slap Eydis Fire-Eye who got snippy with her over her loyalty. Leah is a Redoran - it's not like she's going to be allying herself with the likes of the Thieves Guild any lifetime soon. However, despite her distaste for illegal activities a la the Thieves Guild, she finds them preferable to the blunt threats of violence a la the Camonna Tong. She has already come to blows once against the Camonna Tong and expects to do so again.
Last night she had an experience that left her so completely revulsed that it may as well have been on par with the 6th House. It is one of the few times I've seen Leah enraged. She talked with a Nord woman outside of Caldera who was upset that her family heirlooms were stolen by a khajiit criminal. Leah agreed to track him down and recover her jewels. She finds the cave and makes her way through, noting the slaves present and finds the big ol' cat. Clearly, he was the one in charge of this operation. Enraged that anyone would sell out their own people into slavery, not to mention the Argonians present too...Leah wasted no sypmathy and actually struck the first blow on that waste of flesh. Helping this group of slaves was more satisfying than it ever had been before. She expected Dunmer to keep slaves, but Khajiit? That was unthinkable. _________________ Denina

Day 1 of my new character Llalival,
The half naked guy in the hull of the ship said we arrived in Morrowind. I was set free. I can’t remember much of my past. On land, some boy ask me if I had seen his ring. After giving his ring back, he told me to see his friend Arrille. These people outside don’t seem that friendly, in that trade house should be some equipment for this great hero… (I choice to be an archer because I lack courage).
That Arrille seems a good guy. He reminds me of my dad (I finally remember something!). He gave my this advice: “buy a weapon and as much armor as you can wear and still run for trouble”. This seems an auspicious advice, from someone who’s trader. Anyway, I hate trouble! I bought a crappy bow, some cheap armor and some arrow’s (those arrow’s are expensive for a poor guy like me).
“Spread a little of the Emperor’s gold around to gain some friends”?!!! That’s what the lady next to him told me. What kind of closed community is this?! Omg, I have to move further. The kid was nice, because I gave him a ring, the trader was nice because I had gold. The third person I speak wants even more gold…
Wait, what am I doing here anyway? *reads* So I have to deliver a package, and I’m in service from Emperor himself… Ok, I’m in big trouble now. Let’s just go to Balmora! Wait, where the *** is Balmora??? Stilt strider, what? That giant louse!? Seems scary… but if it brings me to Balmora…
What! Even that kind caravaner wants nothing more than my money. Capitalists!!! Leave me, I walk! *sigh*
Once again, sorry for my English. Feel free to correct me.
[Edit - I fixed "suspicious" to auspicious because I think that's the word you were actually looking for. I'm sorry if it's not but it seemed appropriate - Denina] |

While completing the quest to become the Ahemussa Nerevarine, my character Nicolas went to Ald Daedroth. While there, he discovered a most peculiar Khajiit -- it looked exactly like an Orc! Still, the Orcish figure assured Nicolas that it was a Khajiit, and even pointed him toward Gambolpuddy.
This led me to a new character idea -- a Khajiit that thinks it's an Orc. As the idea developed, it transformed a bit. I'm having quite a lot of fun playing with a custom Khajiit (Slof's Mane mod) that is desperately searching for a way to become an Orc again after Sheogorath made his mind trade bodies with a Khajiit! He's reading all he can and asking all the right people, but he's coming no closer to finding a solution.
On the bright side, when talking with the Imperial Cult in Ebonheart, he feels that he found a calling. So, he's now questing away in representation of the Cult. _________________
