The Great Pornography Rule
As stated before, you cannot post pornography or links to download pornography. This only includes videos of real people and images of real people. Drawn art, screenshots, and other things you have created yourself or have been given permission by the original owner to use are allowed. Likewise, any stories containing graphic scenes are allowed as well.
The only rule concerning content of this type after you've met the above criteria is that you must place some kind of warning in your topic's title or description letting people know that there is nudity, sex, etc. in what you are posting. This keeps people from accidentally opening bad things at work! If you forget to warn people, expect some to be upset. The staff can't keep an eye out all the time, but they will try to make sure threads are tagged appropriately. |

I think I'd mentioned this on the previous forum, but it appears that I haven't mentioned it here. It's also something I've slacked on, but won't be in the future since my work requires me being anal retentive about grammar/spelling.
If I see any posts with horrible spelling/grammar, I will edit the post and correct them. If there are too many, I will PM to ask you to correct them.
Now, I know that not all of our members here have English as their first language. That is okay. I do not expect you to have perfect grammar and spelling and while I may fix your post, I'm not going to take your birthday away for it (besides, I wouldn't miss an opportunity for birthday cake).
I will be paying more attention to posts from here on out. I theorize that if I pay more attention to other people's grammar and spelling, it'll make me more diligent in spotting my own grammar/spelling discrepancies in my work, which is absolutely essential if I want to keep my income flowing. Of course, poor grammar/spelling in posts here is not a very common occurrence, so I won't get much practice anyway, but I'm doing this more as a mental exercise to keep me diligent than I am anything else.
If I edit your post, I will also write at the bottom of your post that I did so. I hardly ever edit anyone's posts for any reason, but if I have a reason to do so, I always type a note saying I did and why I did.
This is just an FYI. I'm not posting this to single anyone out. I only decided to do this again today.
While re-reading the rules here, I realized that while this was posted on the previous forum, it isn't here. We will ALWAYS adamantly enforce the no leet speak rule here. There is almost unlimited space to post. Avoid txt speak, leet-speak, etc. This is a forum, not a pager. There's no reason to not type out your words. Any posts containing txt talk or leet speak will be met with a request to fix the post. Failure to do so will result with the post being deleted entirely. No one has the time to waste trying to decipher leet speak, nor do we want our brains to rot from the effort. _________________ Denina

RULES ABOUT SCREEN NAMES
Names must be something that is not jibberish or worse. I will delete any members who register with a user name that is jibberish. I did it this afternoon in fact, thus this rule. Also, names should not be obscene or break any of the code of conduct rules either.
Really, this should be obvious and shouldn't even need to have a rule made for it. _________________ Denina

Spamvertising
This forum is created for members of the Morrowind community to gather and discuss issues of importance to them. It is not a billboard for advertising products or services to our membership. If you're registering here for that purpose, don't bother. Your account will be banned instantly and your ad will be banished without any benefit to show for your efforts.
Spammers are not welcome here. This site may be publicly accessible, but it is a private database and spammers and advertisers are explicitly prohibited from trespassing. If soliciting your product or service to the membership is your intent, you may not register, log in, or post. Depending on the country in which you live, this may actually make it a criminal offense (computer tresspass) to register here for the purpose of advertising. _________________ Stupidity is its own punishment... I will add that if your signature advertises real world products and services it will be deleted unless you are actively participating in the forum. As stated above, registering and making one post just to advertise is not acceptable and it does not make you active. _________________ Denina
